How do you turn off the Microsoft WIRELESS Optical Mouse Blue without taking out the batteries?

I lost my manual, and I can't find a way to turn of my mouse. The only way to turn it off is to take out the batteries. Is there a way to turn it off without having to deal with the hassle of removing the batteries? Just so we're clear, the mouse looks like this:

I have the same mouse and no I don't think you can turn it off without removing the batteries.

Try looking for it in the My Computer section or the Control Panel drivers and then double click on Optical Mouse icon and it sound turn it off but if not right click then opt. then on/off

disconnect the receiver from the pc.
