well,if they are both kittens, then it is normal. If one is a kitten and one is a cat, then it will pass. If they are both cats then it should pass.Let them settle it. I need more info to really help you out.

Separate them into two different rooms for now. Cats have to be gradually introduced to one another, and if there is fighting, they may have to be re-introduced. They should be in their rooms - and gradually allowed to have visual contact with one another while something POSITIVE is going on - you can try feeding them on opposites sides of a common room and gradually move the bowls closer together.

If they like to play, when they are out for a short time, initiate a game (laser light, etc.) See this site - the first article. Even if one of your cats isn't new - the gradual introduction will still apply.

Get then fixed. Cats will constantly fight if they are not fixed. My 2 males did this ALL the time. One almost took my hand off(literally) when I tried to stop them. I got them fixed and now they use each other as pillows.

Some people would tell you to spay or neuter them. My experience is that this does not work with established enemies. Pick the one you like most and find a good home for the other. This isn't going to stop and neither of them are happy in continuous conflict and competition.

the best offer i can say is time...... my cat is a few years older than my other two and he still to this day gets all huffy at my ferrits but really it moreless takes time for each other to realize there space and boundaries some cats just take a little longer to adjust to the fact they have to share there house hold Worth another animal

sounds like they might both be males that are not nuertured. if that is the case, you know what you have to do! if not, they may just not like one another. it is hard to figure animals out sometimes. they may just stop fighting one day and get along. i have seen a little bit of everything with animals. cats and dogs that is. anyway ,,,, good luck!!

they might just be playing, if blood is being drawn ,separate them

Source(s): my cat and my sisters cat, (blood was never drawn between them)
