Yes. Lucifer, the most beautiful and beloved angel in heaven, decided he should be equal to God. Lucifer had a "following" of angels who agreed that God wasn't all that powerful. So, Lucifer and his group of angels tried to overthrow God. There was a great war in heaven. Lucifer and his demons were ultimately cast out of heaven and they are allowed to roam the earth.

If you believe Christian dogma, then yes, absolutely, angels can sin. According to the Bible, there was a revolt of angels against God, which resulted in Lucifer being cast into the pit.

In the real world, no, angels can't sin, because there is no such thing. It's like asking if Krusty The Clown can sin.

No. Angels were created for a life of servitide to God. The only angel that ever sinned was Lucifer. Depending on which theologian you read, even the angels that followed Lucifer did not actively sin, because they were led astray by Lucifer.

Angels do not exist, and neither does sin. People should realise this about the same time they realise that Santa Claus doesn't exist, but unfortunately for some bizarre reason society seems to approve more of the one fantasy than the other.

Yes, they can sin. That is, only if they choose to. An example, the devil and his demon followers were once angels in heaven, having a good standing before God. They were created perfect, there was no sinful tendencies in them. However, they were given the gift of free will. They chose to defy God. It is good to know that the majority chose to be faithful to God.

In Islam, angels are seen as creatures of light and perfection; they are in perfect and complete obedience to God and would never sin. They were never given Free Will.

We believe that Satan was not an angel at all, instead another creature called Jinn (genie is a word and concept that was later created from the term jinn) who was created from fire, and given Free Will just as us humans were. When God created Adam, he commanded all His creatures to bow down to Adam. Being created from fire, Satan considered himself much greater than this thing from dirt and refused, thus beginning his life of damnation. There are good and evil jinn, as they are given Free Will like us, but no angel is capale of sin.

yeah especially the one angel called Lucifer (Satan) he wanted to be as powerful and as knowledgeable as God. He is the angel of light. He is also the devil. A lot of things look and sound too good to be true and they are, the devil is just like this, but he was once and angel.

the angels that followed lucifer sinned to God, so therefore angels can sin but most choose to be good like Gabriel and the other archangels.
