i mean she stares at herself in it every night while i bathe her, and we play in front of one all the time. i just wonder if when she sees me next to her, then me on the other side in the mirror whether she knows its a reflection...or if shes weirded out...two mommies! or something.

a couple months. It depends on how much you play with them in front of it. Peekaboo is a great game to help them recognize themselves and whoever is holding them

usually within the first 6 months, but you have to show them a mirror regularly for them to recognize themselves
