Just to give you some guidelines - a studio/bedsit can cost betwen 500 - 800 pounds a month, depending on where it is.

A one bedroom flat can cost between 600 - 1000 pounds a month, depending on where it is.

It is really expensive! That's why we don't live there anymore...

If money is an issue, you'd be better off looking for a houseshare or flatshare, you can usually find a room in a shared house for 300 - 400 pounds a month.
