A transgendered person is someone who identifies as a member of the opposite sex - a man, who identifies as a woman.

A transsexual person is someone who has surgery to correct their genitalia so that it corresponds with their gender identity.

A transvestite is a man, generally heterosexual, who gets off sexually on wearing a dress.

A drag queen is a man (or woman) who makes a statement on feminine archetypes by adopting exagerrated female behaviours or emulating outrageous female personalities (i.e., Joan Crawford).
