power supply main connector?
i want to buy a power supply.. i know my motherboards main connector is 24 pin, if i get a power supply that is 20+4 or 24 pin, will they both work with my motherboard?

Just take out the power supply and have someone match it up. If you know what u are doing, it can be in and out in under 5 minutes

Beware that DELL computers (generally) use a non-standard power supply. Same connectors with different voltage assignments (!!!!), different connectors, different combination of connectors, different orientation of power switch and AC inlet (requiring new holes to be made in steel case to accomodate.) etc.
Personally, this feels inexcusable to me, especially since DELL doesn't offer enhanced wattage supplies, so their attempt at monopoly is ineffective for the consumer.
And, let me add, grrrrr!
But I still love DELL.
