You always hurt the one you love.

Cliches aside, sometimes you hurt me. Sometimes you make thoughless comments in trying to be funny and may not even see it.

I respond in klind with a statement that cannot be misconstrued in any way.

We are now on a downward spiral of vituperations and accusations. One of us has to say "I'm sorry" or the whole thing goes kablooey.
