Moving to San Diego: Can you give me fashion advice?

Question

So I a guy moving to San Diego to go to Alliant International University, I'm originally from NYC by way of San Francisco. Can anyone give me fashion tips on what to wear down there? What's hot? WHAT'S NOT?? Anxious to know.... thanks!

Personally I think you should wear what fits you the best and you feel comfortable in. Try to show off your personality as best as possible. Wear something that stands out, but that is still you. If you can't seem to find out what to wear, look through fashion magazines for men. They have some great advice and will let you know what's in and what's out. Cargo shorts, a t-shirt and a pair of flip flops will give you a more laid-back style, which is great the first day if you're not so sure about what to wear. Remember just don't follow the crowd. Most of all, choose something that is relaxed, comfy and you feel confident in!

Definitely be yourself, have your own style, don't follow the crowd. As a side note, remember that San Diego is hot year around. Not Florida/Georgia hot, with humidity, but most times a dry heat. Definitely look into loose fitting clothes and shorts.

Oh, and lastly. When you get out there, head out to Coronado Island. As you come across the bridge make a right on Orange Street, I believe it is. Several blocks down on the left, keep looking for a large building with a blue sign that reads "Coronado Brewing Co." go in and have the steak.. its delicious.

San Diego is a very different atmosphere. Flip flops are highly encouraged! Anything you have thats loungy and comfy will do.

People up there are somtimes really upitty so go for the rich girl look. But DO add some personal style!

I live in SF, tip #1: Wear light materialed things (it gets hot)

tip#2: comb overs are not very cool

tip #3: NEVER TUCK YOUR SHIRT INTO YOUR PANTS!!!!

go to the hottest stores in your town or just be yourself and the people will like you for who you are! Hope this helped!
