The American with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a Federal Law and enforced through the Department of Labor or the EEOC if discrimination is alleged. Federal agencies are required to adhere to the ADA. If you are a Federal Employee, contact your Human Resources office. The only exception would be members of Congress. They are the ones that pass the laws, but in the past they have exempted themselves from complying with some laws.

    **LOL**

yes, the feds meets the criteria of employers that need to comply.

    but do they?

not necessarily. tons of loop holes. and many rulings have successfully watered the ADA down.
