Why does Wendy's sell 5 nugs for 99cents and McD's sells 4 for $1?

    McD's can't lower the price too much, because they are still trying to sell packs of 10 for $3.

    I bet that the total weight of 5 Wendy's nugs equals the total weight of 4 McD's nugs. Wendy's gives you 5 because they think you'll be impressed. Kind of like that trick you play on kids where you trade them 5 pennies for their 1 quarter.
