can you get your appraisal licensing in state of Maryland with at en year old felony?

Maryland asks its applicants if they have ever had a felony conviction. It does not state that you are automatically disqualified, however.
You should contact the state appraisal board, firstname.lastname@example.org , and direct your question to the board.
In some states, the nature of the felony may disqualify you. For example, an embezzler may not qualify, but a drug dealer may qualify.Source(s): http://www.dllr.state.md.us/

I don't think you can hold a license any where with a felony. It doesn't matter how old it is.
