表「授與」:give the necklace to my mom

    表「終點」:from Taipei to New York

I like to go to the bookstore.

I told him not to cry.(否定)

She seemed to have been through a lot.(完成)

We are to serve; not to be served.(被動)

    to+ NP/V-ing

    這個時候的to 作用類似 of; about; for

What do you say to going shopping this weekend?

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

When it comes to playing tennis, my son is second to none.(說到打網球,我的兒子所向披靡)

    To

    prep. (介係詞 preposition)

The government offered to give us financial help.

To gossip about others isn't right.

    look forward to 期待

My family and I look forward to seeing you next month.

    used 習慣於 (+ to)

I am used to walking to school.

    like 喜歡 [+v-ing]

    She likes playing the piano.
