1.CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 2-1/4 c. unsifted flour1 tsp. baking soda1 c. butter or margarine1/4 c. granulated sugar3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar1 c. crushed candy canes1 (4 serving) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix1 tsp. vanilla2 eggs1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chipsMix flour and baking soda. Combine butter, sugars, pudding mix, and vanilla in large bowl; beat until smooth. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips and candy canes. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls (or roll into balls) and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.2.Lemon Cookies1 pkg. lemon cake mix (Duncan Hines)1 egg1 (4 oz.) Cool WhipPowdered sugar1 pkg. instant lemon puddingCombine above ingredients except powdered sugar. Chill 15 minutes. Roll in 1-inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 10-12 minutes. Yield: 4 1/2 dozen cookies. *May substitute lemon flavoring.4.BUTTER COOKIES 1-1/2 c. confectioners sugar1 c. margarine1 egg1-1/2 tsp. vanilla2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour1 tsp. soda1 tsp. cream of tartarCookie decorationsMix sugar and margarine; add egg and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Mix flour, soda and cream of tartar; blend. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Roll a portion of dough into 1/8-inch thickness; cut into desired shapes. Sprinkle on decorations. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes
