英文用法的一些疑惑?

I think he has gone out to lunch.

I think he has gone to lunch.

這兩句的意思有差嗎?

什麼時候用arrive at?arrive in?及只用arrive?

    I think he has gone out to lunch.

    →我想他已經外出用中餐(不過應該是"I think he has gone out for lunch."才正確)。

    I think he has gone to lunch.

    →我想他已經出去用中餐(不過應該是"I think he has gone out to eat lunch."才正確)。

    arrive at→到達小地方、地點,例如學校...,或到達終點的意思。

    arrive in →到達大地方、地點,例如台灣、台北...,而且有停留在該處的意思。

    arrive是不級物動詞,所以即使單獨用,也是省略了其它介系詞之類的。

    我想他已經外出用餐了

    離開屋內

    I think he has gone to lunch.

    我想他已經用餐去了

    可能在屋內 或者 屋外
