Mother Author: Sharon Froese
When I was little you, my mother had to do everything for me.
You fed me, changed me, brushed my hair, and scrubbed the dirt from my knees.
I got a little older, but I Still needed you just as much.
To help me with my homework, and for advice and such.
Then one day I moved away, but I still needed you, mother.
For you became a friend to me,and you still loved me like no other.
I got married and became a mom, what kind of mother would I be?
I try to follow your example,and love my kids like you loved me.
I know I don't always say to you the words you long to hear.
but in your heart still you know,
"I love you, Mother, dear"

"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER",A word that means the world to me.
