    It stinks.

It smells bad / awful / terrible.

    It is smelly.

    [n] Your room sticks!

[v] Don't stink up the place!

[n / v] My math sticks. I stick at math.

[n] The reek of dirty socks fills the room.

[v] He reeks of alcohol.

[adj] The foul air is killing me.

There is a foul smell in the air.

[adj] The tomb is filled with malodorous dust.

    mal- "不" or "壞" or "惡" 的意思. e.x. malfunction = not functioning = 故障
