Young dog swallows knife ( in WPE )   A young dog in Britain swallowed a kitchen knife nearly as long as his body . The little dog is called Jake and he is 12 weeks old , living with his owner John Mallett in Liverpool , England . Jake is a lovely and naughty dog , he spends his days runing (running )[注]around and eating everything he sees.  One day , John found that Jake was throwing up something of the stomach through his mouth and trying to keep his body in a straight line .John was worried and then took him to the vet quickly.  X-rays showed why the dog was throwing up : A kitchen knife was runing through his body! The knife was 7 inches long , the handle was at his bony frame within the hip-bones and the point of the knife was at the top of his throat . It’s too dangerous . That’s the reason John quickly sent the dog to the vet .  Jake is now as healthy as he was . What a dog !

新華社電　美國佛羅裡達州一隻6個月大的寵物狗最近可謂“大難不死”，因為它吞下一把數十厘米長的匕首后居然沒有被扎死，目前獸醫已經通過手術取出了這把“惹禍”的匕首。

　　寵物醫院的獸醫喬恩－保羅·卡魯剛剛看到埃爾西的X光片時，不敢相信這是真的：他發現埃爾西的食道和胃之間有一把30多厘米長的鋸齒狀匕首。

　　斯卡羅拉后來才知道，這條小狗吞下這把匕首已經有4天之久。卡魯隨后給埃爾西做了手術，取出了這把匕首。埃爾西手術后恢復得不錯，它帶著一條約20厘米長的傷疤，回到了主人那裡。
