簡單半導體短文中翻英~^^"感激不盡(20點)

半導體:

半導體<semicondcctor>,顧名思義,就是導電率介於金屬等導體和玻璃等非導電體間的物質,

其能障並不大,低於非導體,所以在高溫,照光等給予能量的狀況或是加入一些可減小能

障的元素,便可改變其電阻值,成為電的良導體。其基本原理為下列三點:

1. 導電性介於導體和半導體之間的物體,稱為半導體

2. 此物體為需要高溫和高電量才能通電的物體.

3.在溫度是0和電導率是0,當溫度上升後,價電帶內的電子,由於熱激發躍進到導電帶,致使導帶內充滿 一些電子,導電率隨之增加

----------這就是半導體.

    您好,翻譯了一下,但是有些地方覺得寫的怪怪的,所以沒照翻

    Semiconductor:

    A semiconductor is a substance which has a conductivity between conductor (metal) and insulator (glass).

    Compared to insulator, the conductivity of semiconductor could be controled by adding some low energy

    barrier dopants or operating in some special situations. For example, illuminating with light or operating in

    high temperature both can transfer energy to semiconductor and reduce semiconductor's resistance. The

    ferture of controllable semiconductor is due to its lower energy barrier than insulator. Therefore, this feature

    provides a way for semiconductor to change between conductor and insulator. There are three basic properties for

    semiconductor material:

    1. A material, which has a conductivity between conductor and insulator, would be a semiconductor.

    2. A material could be conducted in high temperature or high electric field.

    3. At higher temperature, the electron would get more thermal energy and emit from valence band to conduction band.

    Therefore, as temperature increasing, more and more conduction band electron would increase the conductivity of semiconductor.
