"he is a faun.he had a pleasant little face and curly hair, out of which stuck two horns."

    which指前個名詞也就是it的功能

    這裡是curly hair

=he is a faun.he had a pleasant little face and curly hair, and out of the curly hair stuck two horns.

    譬如說

I have a parrot which talks

=I have a parrot, it talks.

    其實that這字也有相同用法

I have a parrot that talks

=I have a parrot, it talks.
