    They are both instruments for tidying hair. A comb is a thin toothed strip, typically plastic, and is normally used by men - you know, the thin brown ones that our fathers use.

    A hairbrush is, as its name suggests, a brush for the hair. Think of it as a large toothbrush, you know, with a big thick handle. Typically women use hairbrushes more then men, as they have more hair.
