As humans learned to domesticate animals and raise crops, they started to settle down!
Therefore, they were able to form a society with distribution of labor. The forming of a society developed culture and other characteristics of civilization. Eventually, they were
able to stock up on food, creating a motive for war and classes(masters, slaves...).
Learning to domesticate animals, raising crops means aquiring new methods of production. I would think of them as economic changes, however the changes influenced far more than just the economy but the whole social order. Most of the civilized world as we know was developed then on.Source(s): me
