    it all depends on what major you pick. It takes usually two to three years for a Master degree. Of course, it is possible to final the entire program in a year. However, your workload will be extremely heavy.

    Give you an example, if you enroll in the same program as your bachelor degree (i.e. B.S. in Physics, and enrolls in M.S. Physics) then you basically should have no prerequisites, meaning not require to take any undergraduate course to satisfy the minimum requirement of the master program. Keeping one thing in mind, each school has different requirement.
