Update:

Ismail was _(completely absorbed)_ with his studying wehn his younger sister burst into the room.

1) engulfed 2) engroseed 3) engaged 4) satiated

The company is engaged in the production of LCD monitors" (這公司從事於液晶螢幕的製造"

    "....被佔用",如:"the phone is engaged" (電話忙線中)

    "已訂婚",如:"we're finally engaged!"

    engaged:

That number is engaged.

(例:She is engaged to Peter.

的 [+in/on]. (例:He is engaged in his business.

    engrossed:

全神貫注的,專心致志的 (例:The student is engrossed in his book.
