What's the difference between persent perfect tense and past perfect tense??

    (1) present perfect tense 如 I have been teaching English for ten years .

    (2) past perfect tense 如 I had been teaching English for ten years .

    這兩句的意思雖然都是「我教英文已教了十年了」;但意思卻也點不同。第一句的意思裡還包涵了,「我雖已教了十年,但我還會教下去」;而第二句雖純脆是「我教英文已教了十年」,但它還有一個涵意,就是他現在雖不在繼續教下去,但他不保證他以後會不會再教英文!這樣你懂嗎?又例如:

    I have been living here for three years .

    I had been living here for three years. 這兩句是差不多很上面一樣的。

    這句型是外國人最常用的表達方式來的。而英文非母語的人往往對這句型最容易搞混,這就是為什麼大家都比較喜歡只用現在式和過去式的原因了!

    現在完成是從過去到現在為止

    過去完成是從"更早"的過去到過去某一時點為止
