保久乳是以生乳經高壓滅菌或高溫滅菌,以瓶(罐)裝或無菌包裝後供飲用之乳汁。由於經過滅菌處理,一般市售保久乳的保存期限約六個月。 保久乳在殺菌處理過程比較久,所以少數維生素會被破壞,不過大部分且最重要的營養價值還是不變。
