(我看過你的解答，說英文你應該看的懂吧?) This is a movie about a person trying to get his memory of his past

lover erased. In the process, he finds the sweetness of it and trys

frankly to save the memory. In the movie, the hero cites this:

How happy is the blameless Vestal's lot!The world forgetting, by the world forgot;Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd.

I think the line "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" (無污點記憶的永遠的情天) is meant to be

an irony -- on one hand you want to forget painful memory, but on the

other you forever want to remember what you forget (hence "eternal"). (我覺得這是個反諷，一方面你要忘掉不愉快的回憶，另一方面你永遠都想要記起你所忘記的東西)

幾乎所有的人都有失戀的經驗

失戀是痛苦的

就好比在心靈深處烙下深刻的印痕

大家都不想要有這樣的記憶

想要忘掉他或她

重新擁有一個 spotless mind

任誰都很難做到

但回想戀情一開始的階段

卻又都是甜蜜美好的

這就是受傷心靈的 eternal sunshine
