not... until...

1. The message was passed from person to person until it reached the front of the bus.

The message wasn't passed from..............until....?

2. We won't leave the house until he comes back.

Debbie's on vacation until Monday. 和 Debbie's NOT on vacation until Monday.

    2. We won't leave the house until he comes back.

We didn't leave the house until he came back.

We stay in the house until he comes back.

    until (prep. conjunction)

    1. used in order to say that something stops happening or being done at a particular time or when something else happens: (Ex: I have classes until 7 p.m. today.)

    2. NOT UNTIL used in order to say that something will not happen before a particular time: ( Ex: The movie doesn't start until 8 p.m. // The doctor's not available until tomorrow.)

    Good luck

既然是"wasn't passed" 那又怎會"reached the front of the bus" 呢?

    而這句的意思應是"message"到了"the front of the bus"的時候就停了
