a pound per day?! okay first off it is extremely unhealthy to lose weight that quickly. It screws up your metabolism which can lead to more weight gain and excess skin. One pound is equal to 3,500 calories! An average person would burn about 2,000 calories per day. So, for you to obtain this goal you couldnt eat anything for a month and most likely die! all the while needing to burn off an extra 1,500 calories per day! Thats about 3 hours of running each day or 5 hours of walking and if your like any other person... we just dont have that kind of time. If you are trying to do this for an event that you want to look great for, you should've started earlier but now, you can just aim a littlebit lower. so, say you consume 1,200 calories each day. That means you lose about 800 cal per day minus exercising. At this rate you would lose 30 lbs in 131 days. Or, a little less than 10 lbs per month.
