    When I was younger Eddie Van Halen, but now I would say Clapton. The Cream Reunion DVD is amazing.

    There's Brian May of Queen; Jimi Hendrix; and Jimmy Page.

    I know it's trite, but I'd say Hendrix really had a knack for the instrument. He was able to make his music transcend music, the way Garcia and only a few others could.
