Get some help if you have bronchitis. You did not say if you had Chronic or Acute bronchitis.

Your doctor is your best bet for getting help for this disease.

Have you been check for bronchitis or COPD? (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.)

Bronchitis is an inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes, the airways that connect the trachea (windpipe) to the lungs. When a person has bronchitis, it may be harder for air to pass in and out of their lungs than it normally would.

Excessive coughing can put a strain on the heart in itself let alone all the congestion in the lungs etc.
