To live life to the full cup from birth to death.
Each day learn all you can and intentionally initiate no harm to others.
All that others say and do to laud and dissuade what you do, is not meaningful. Simply do what you believe is right and do it to the fullest. If turns out to be wrong, then make the amends that you are able to do and move on.
Still, through all the ages people have pondered such questions:
Life, if well used, is long enough. – Seneca: De Ira, II, 43 CE.
Out, out, brief candle!
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then I heard no more; it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
-Shakespeare: Macbeth, V, 1605 CE.
Life is a pure flame, and we live by an invisible sun within us. – Thomas Browne: Uen Burial, V, 1658.
