Dogs will chew anything and everything. You have to teach them what they can chew and what they can't chew. While you are training them, you have to watch them CONSTANTLY. When you see they are chewing on something they are not supposed to, you have to get up, walk over to them, take it away and calmly and firmly say NO. Then give them something they are allowed to chew one and tell them GOOD GIRL/BOY. You will have to do this 100+ times, which means you have to get up from the couch or the chair or the computer EACH AND EVERY they are chewing something they are not supposed to. Because, if you see they are chewing on the plant in the next room and you say, hey, I don't feel like getting up, dog wins. He figures, hey, I'll just keep on chewing because NO doesn't always mean NO and she probably won't get up to stop me.
