do bridal stores allow people to rent wedding dresses?

The chance of you finding a bridal store that will permit you to rent a wedding gown or bridesmaid gown is slim to none.
There are a few businesses that actually RENT wedding gowns and/or bridesmaid's gowns but they are few and far between.
If you do not have the money to buy a wedding gown then try some of the second hand clothing stores or consignment shops. You should also check to see if any of the bridal shops in your area have "close outs" or "off the rack" dresses that have been tried on previously by other Brides. You could also try some of the auction websites like Ebay.

I'm sure such stores exist but I've never seen one. I don't know about renting wedding dresses but they probably charge extra when you bring it back with stains or there is an extra charge for cleaning it. The cost may be more than getting a nice dress at a second hand shop or on sale.

attempt Dillard's or an analogous keep. at times you will discover remarkable clothing on clearance. you could keep distinctive earnings case you come across a gown you like that may no longer being bought as a "wedding ceremony" gown. And in case you pass with some thing long and white (if it is your component), no person will comprehend the version.

not generally, but there are some shops which do rent wedding dresses, mostly located on the west coast or in texas, so it depends upon where you are.
