Can ovulation effect a pregnancy test?

Say you missed a period and wanted to take a test but its the time you normally ovulate. Would it effect you pregnancy test? Or if you were pregnant, since you dont ovulate during pregnancy, would it even matter? Sorry if this question is worded confusingly.

If you're pregnant you don't ovulate so it wouldn't matter. If you're not pregnant ovulating won't give you a positive result because pregnancy tests measure hcg which is produced when you're pregnant. So no, ovulation can't effect a pregnancy test.

You test when you miss a period. You ovulate between periods so this question is pointless.

That would make her two weeks late. She needs to take a test.
