skateboards or longboards?

wats the difference between skateboards and longboards. i dont know how to ride either so wich one is easer to learn how to ride.

All longboards are skateboards. A longboard is a skateboard that the deck is 36" or greater in length.

Boards that are wider and longer are more stable, so a longboard would be a bit easier to learn on.

Longboards are by far easier to maneuver, and a lot easier to use as transportation as opposed to recreation and "tricks". I've been longboarding for awhile now and still can't skateboard very well. However, you can still do tricks on longboards but that definitely takes practice.
