Will an Opteka .45x Wide Lens fit my video camera?

I want to get a fish eye or wide angle lens for my video camera but I don't know whether it will fit. My video camera is an Otek HD 720p High Definition Video Camera. There is a ring that screws off the end bit so it has a thread but I don't know what size it is or anything. It says on my current lens..."F/3.0 : f = 7.27 mm" whatever that means. Will this wide angle lens fit my camera? >>> http://www.ryda.com.au/ProductDetails.asp?ProductC...

My current video camera >>> http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/otek-high-definiti...

If this doesn't can you suggest a fish eye lens that will fit this video camera?

Thanks in advance.

I can't find any information that shows what the "Lens Filter Diameter" specification is for your camcorder. This is the spec you need to understand whether you can add a lens (or a filter).

If the ring that unscrews off the lens exposes threads on the outside of the lens barrel, then that won't work - and be careful because that may be holding the lens assembly in place. Generally, screw-mount lens/filter threading is "inside" like the threads on a nut. The lens/filter threads are on the outside like a bolt.

it truly is an upload-on adapter and not a real lens. You connect it to the front of the kit lens. may be relaxing for funky shooting the place you do not care with regard to the distortion or high quality, yet in no way could desire to it substitute for a real huge attitude lens. Tokina makes a advantageous 12-24mm WA lens for plenty decrease than the Nikon counterpart, $4 hundred, (or $six hundred for the 11-16mm) A Nikon 14-24 will value approximately $1800, and the Nikon 12-24 around $900. As you will see, liking huge attitude isn't much less costly.
