First, unfortunately, you're in the wrong category. But fortunately, I can help you.
If you believe that Jesus died to pay the penalty for your sins (crimes against God's Moral Law - times you have violated your very own conscience and have done things that made you feel guilty and ashamed of yourself), and if you believe that Jesus rose from the dead the morning of the 3rd day, just as He said He would do, and if you deeply repent of your sins (repent means to turn your back on, to make a full 180 degree turn around, to renounce your old sinful lifestyle, and to "own" Jesus as the Lord (boss) of your life) - if you do these things and put your trust that God has done what He said He would do, then you are saved, no matter how you may feel, no matter what thoughts you may have about it.
Bottom line, summarizing everything:
- believe that Jesus died for YOUR sins to pay the penalty in your place
- ask God to forgive you
- repent of your sins
Then God will save you, forgive you, cleanse your heart and your life, and then adopt you into His Forever Family.
I speak from personal experience, not just book-reading or head-knowledge.
