How do i tighten LCD hinges for thinkpad t42?

You have to remove the laptop cover to access the screw which is hidden under the hinge cover (the shiny silver thing). I believe that you also need a "torx" screwdriver to do this (Home Depot has it).

And avoid picking up the laptop by the display and swinging it around like I often do :). The hinges on Thinkpads are amazingly strong, but I've seen them develop cracks over time.

Probably have to remove the keyboard to access the screws. How? Usually there are two tabs in front, that you gently depress to lift, and go forward at the same time. Sorry, I'm not that familiar with your laptop. Wait,......I finded it!

I even have some batteries... all of them initiate the computing gadget and in this one specific computing gadget, the gentle keeps to be orannge with all of them... as quickly as I placed an analogous batteries in yet another T-4x, the gentle in those is going off.... could be another solutions available as nicely ""lifeless battery".... idk.idkk, what grew to become out to be your answer?
