Just to clarify, it is more often the *government* that people hate. We must be careful to differentiate between the rulers and subjects.
People do hate the American government for all of the things on your list. More generally, the American government wields massive power and uses it for its own benefit. More often than we realize, I believe, its actions cause harm around the world. It is natural, when people have been harmed through the application of power, to hate the people who wield it.
Regarding the American people, I am sure that some people hate us for certain aspects of our culture. Perhaps they find us arrogant. Perhaps they criticize us for materialism or immorality (not that these charges should be accepted for all Americans in general). To be sure, if they hate our government, they should not be happy that many of us willingly, even eagerly, support it.
In any case, it all comes down to the application of power. If our government were not powerful, or if it did not project that power around the world, there would be less scrutiny on us.
