There are a handful of legitimate scientists who believe that the theory of evolution is completely invalid. They are in such a tiny minority, though, that it's unlikely (investigating from a non-scientific point of view) that the vast majority don't have it right.
Look at it this way: there are three possibilities.
1. Evolution is true. The small group of vocal opponents are primarily American fundamentalist Christians.
2. Evolution is a lie, but the entire scientific community is unaware of some basic mistakes they're making. Luckily a group of non-scientists has it all figured out and will explain why they're wrong.
3. Scientists know it's all a sham, but they have a vested interest in maintaining the fiction, despite mountains of evidence that anyone with a 5th grade education can easily see. Over the last 100 years nobody has turned up a single tract outlining this nefarious scheme, nobody who has defected to the creationist side has ever talked about a genuine consipiracy, and the secret has been possibly the best kept in modern history.
Which do you think is more likely? And why do you get so upset about evolution when, if your aim is genuine scientific curiosity, you completely ignore other fields whose mechanisms are far less fully understood and actual debate is still taking place?
I suspect it's because your strings are being pulled by someone else. And you don't even know it.
