Which of the following types of antimicrobial drugs make microbes more susceptible to osmotic pressure? d. drugs that inhibit cell wall synthesis

Inhibiting cell wall synthesis would stop the formation of an outer cell wall; leaving the microbe vulnerable to the outside environment.

Antimicrobial drugs are often grouped according to d. all of the above.

The multidrug resistant pumps in many bacterial cell membranes cause e. All of the choices are correct.

Which of the following is NOT considered part of the indigenous microbiota of the female reproductive system? e. E. coli

lactobacillus prevents candida from going rampant and causing a yeast infection

The most important factor in the colonization of a host by a pathogen is b. the availability of nutrients at the body site.

    I think the answers is

    1.d

    2.d

    3.c

    4.b

    5.b or c?

Im 100% certain trichomonas is not part of the normal flora, and multiresistant drug pumps prevent drug entry into the cell as MRSA is an example.

    The rest are educated guesses.
