Well if your talking about American trucks if I needed one I would buy one. Why, because the U.S. make a good truck. If your talking about cars, U.S. cars suck. Straight off the show room European cars I.E. BMW, Volvo, Mercedes beat U.S. cars hands down. Japanese cars are more reliable, better engiones that take a beating and last a long time. They look better they perform better, they handle better, and they last longer. They are far safer have more innovations added to the standard packages and hold there value. So it's not a liberal thing to have an import it is smart economics. When the Americans make a car that can stand neck and neck with a European car I'll consider the purchase.
Lets look at a mustang. You buy one and the next thing you know your dumping thousands of dollars in high performance breaks, better transmissions, better suspensions, performance chips etc... Shouldn't that be in the car already? Now you go buy a BMW 540. No need for the extra purchases, why, well because it came with the car from the start. Is that a liberal purchase or a smart purchase. This is not about supporting the American worker it is about being smart. Do you honestly think I would trust my families safety to an American Car. Absolutely not. Its not the American workers fault it is the fault of the U.S. Manufacturers who think quantity exceed quality. They have slipped in quality, styling, and ingenuity and for that very reason the number of sales are suffering. Don't blame Liberals blam the manufacturers.
