Serious honesty is one thing, but when it badly or wrongly expressed, then it can easily become something else.
'Your fat' ~ is one thing.
'I think you're overweight' ~ is another.
According to the guidelines of the Body Mass Indicator, then most of our rugby players are 'over weight' AND 'unhealthy,' whereas , they are not 'unhealthy,' and their 'body mass' is invariably 'muscle' and not what it shouldn't be.
So a statement of 'fact' could be in error whereas a statement of 'an opinion' cannot be in error.
On the other hand, the PC Brigade seem to have things sewn up pretty tightly ~ and it is NOT a pretty sight.
It has been a while since I have flown, and I really don't want to go through that process at all ~ not just because of the lengthy check-in procedure, but because I hate the thought of being stuck next to someone on a plane who is fat and spills over the edges of their seat.
I have limitations of my own disability that I have to live with. So I'd hate to have to experience my own which are likely to affected by the infliction of theirs. It might sound cruel of me, but that is my reality.
