So I’m a 20 year old male and never even come close to dating anyone. I never dated anyone in high school because I thought all the relationships were fake, stupid and just puppy love. But now that I’m getting older being alone is just really starting to get to me I don’t know why. It’s like I want to not care but I just can’t seem to help it. The thing is I have a extremely strong attraction to women as (as in I have a very high sex drive) which I know is normal at this point of my life. But I just get terrified to approach any woman that’s even somewhat good looking because it seems like for women they always have at least dozens of guys on their waiting list as for men like me we have to just get what we get haha. I’m not a bad looking guy for any stretch(at least I don’t think so) I exercise frequently and stay in shape. The point is I just want to experience this whole dating thing just once in my life and maybe I will stop caring about it so much because that’s all I’ve seen to think about lately.

It all started when I was 12 and played call of duty (COD) for the first time. I instantly became addicted to it resulting in me getting very average grades in secondary school despite having a lot of potential. I was also very good at sport and could've potential gone professional, but video games drove me away from the passion completely. After secondary school, I didn't want to go to college, but did anyway to keep my parents happy and took subjects that I had no interest in. I left college after 5 months as was a completely failure in the tutors and my parents have never forgiven me for this. I remember that Christmas my mom asked me what I wanted and all I said was Monster energy drinks. She bought me a whole crate full of them and I would down one after another so I could game all night. I hated myself but I loved video games. I actually became good at COD and went to a gaming event back in 2015 and I was completely ridiculed due to being small and introvert. I have not played COD since then and I try to avoid people as much as possible since. Fast forward to 2018, and now I don't play video games but my life's a mess, **** job, **** pay, **** life, no passions, no hobbies, nothing. Why can't I just go back in time and fix my life when I was 16. Now everything's just fucked because I couldn't put the controller down. PS. my 21st birthday was hilarious, went for a meal with family I hadn't seen for a while, and seeing the looks on their faces when I told them about me.

Best answer: Proof of God -

Philosophical arguments of Aquinas and Avicenna
    Testimonials numbering in the millions
Many scientific studies showing the efficacy of prayer
    DNA implying intelligent designer
Every ancient culture in existence came to the conclusion that there is a creator, despite these cultures being completely disconnected from one another

None of these are "factual" evidences because these atheists keep disputing their validity until the cows come home.

Proof of no God - *crickets*

"Cannot prove a negative" Man these guys need to go back to school instead of parroting the same old sh*t day in day out. You actually can prove a negative and anyone who keeps saying that is proving themselves to be a mindless sheep.

Where is your evidence that no God exists? Where is your philosophical argument that demonstrates that God cannot exist?

"Burden of proof is on you"

Ok, I showed you the proof.

Now then, what do you say? Besides something insulting to me that is? Besides some parroted BS. Besides thumbing me down and being on your merry way? I want to hear your argument so that I can destroy it.

Edit - Well there's one thumbs down from one atheist who's afraid to debate me. Any others? Are you going to concede to being defeated without even saying anything?

Lock them all up together? Let them loose into the USA? Build them houses? What?

  • What's the PURPOSE of my life if I'm a totally worthless woman?

If I satisfy every negative criteria for a woman: - ugly (not fat or anything, just not pretty) - Black (because no matter however ugly the White girls are people will still tell them "you're pretty", so let me clarify) - stupid - short tempered - childhood molestation victim So what should I do... show more

What's the purpose of it? I don't believe in charity or helping others because noone helped me when I needed it. I am also only physically attracted to White men so it's not easy for me to date. I don't get along with other women well, and have no "parents" (never met my *father*). I am 22 and studying. But in reality I don't have any ambitions and any interests in life Sounds like my life has no meaning.. dying would be better, but I'm such a coward i haven't tried ending it

Best answer: The US spends far more on its healthcare than most other nations on the planet. In the UK, not only do you not have any hospital bills nor do you have to pay for medical insurance, but the taxes spent by the UK government per capita on healthcare is actually slightly less than what the US government spends on healthcare per capita.

This is a trend we see all over the world. Government with universal healthcare spend far less, despite their healthcare system covering everybody, while in the US it covers a very small amount of people.

The mechanisms that cause this are pretty well understood.

Healthcare is a coercive industry. You either pay for healthcare or you die. It's not subject to the same free market forces most industries are. It's estimated that 45,000 people die in the US due to lack of healthcare. Since healthcare is a necessity, most people will pay for it, even if they drive the prices sky high. You have no choice.

The US pays three times as much for the same medication as the UK does. Literally the same exact bottle of pills costs us three times as much. Corporations know people who need it will die if they don't have it, so they jack up the prices.

Sure, some people eventually will simply be unable to pay and will stop paying. In the US that number hovers around 10%, or a little more than 30 million people who are uninsured. But when you're jacking up prices 10% isn't a big deal, because you're tripling your income on that 90%.

When you take the coercion out of healthcare, prices come down. The government can negotiate prices.

Free market forces simply don't work when coercion is involved.
