  • What is easier, skiing or snowboarding?

A lot of people say skiing is much like ice skating. i completely disagree. i can skate very well but when i went skiing it felt like my skis were 100 pounds on my feet and could not turn or stop. When i snowboarded, i had good balance but carving was hard.

  • Can I still go skiing with bad ankles?

I broke my ankles about a year ago. They are pretty bad now, but I miss doing activities like skiing. I want to take my boyfriend out to hit the powder next weekend but I don't know if I can handle it.

  • Has anyone ever driven a segway down a ski slope?

Has anyone ever driven a segway down a ski slope?

These things have been around a long time now. But I only see them at malls. With all the Daredevil snowboarding going on these days, I'm wondering if anyone has developed a Segway snow vehicle yet?

If you can't go skiing by yourself, find someone in your class and confide in them about what happened last time and that you want to go and have fun but you are nervous. Ask if they will hang out with you part of the time while you get your courage back.

  • What size skis should I buy?

I’m a guy, 5’9, 195 lbs, and am planning on buying new twin tips. I’m a decently aggressive skier, and would like people to give me some specifications because I’m above average weight for my height, and most skis are based on height. Thanks:)
