  My girlfriend and I are tourists, and in Sao Paolo I was slapped and had my wallet stolen by a couple of teen guys. Should I tell police?

  OF COURSE. You were the victim of a crime. Though I can't imagine what made you think it would be a good idea to deliberately walk through a 'bad part of town' in a country notorious for its street crime.

  It sucks where I live too. It takes forever for the taxi to show up, and they discontinued the bus service.
