I’m obviously starting with small goals tho. I started going to the gym and i’m doing jump rope, jumping on the trampoline and running on the sidewalks at home. For my diet, I was thinking about switching to vegan. I don’t eat most meat as it is, I don’t like milk and eggs and I can live without things like cheese and yogurt. And i’m willingly to switch to water, i like it better anyways. My biggest problem is the amount of fast food i consume, but I’m willing to give that up to as it isn’t even good anyways. Is it a good diet to follow? Do you know where I can follow meal plans or anything?

  • Why do vegans falsely claim that meat eating is murder? Do they know that it is not murder to eat meat? Do they even know what murder is?

Best answer: Vegans in general do NOT make this claim.

I do not know who originally coined the phrase "meat is murder" but it is a catchy, memorable slogan which, surely, was never meant to be taken literally.

Unfortunately, some people have mistakenly taken this phrase literally, either because they do not know what the word "murder" means or because they seek to redefine it.

Murder, is the unlawful killing of one or more human beings by one or more human beings. Clearly it has to be a very stupid person who thinks that slaughtering animals to produce food is "murder" - the killing is not "unlawful" and does not involve the death of any human beings. Furthermore, eating meat involves the consumption of an animal who is already dead.

Yes, of course some vegans would like to regard killing an animal as "wrong", "unlawful" and "murder" but it is none of these things.

  • Parents: Would you disapprove if your child became vegetarian?

Would you try to stop them? or encourage them? Or something else. Not here to judge, I'm just interested, if I had a child I would let them, I would even make vegetarian food for them.

  • My vegan sausages taste like rotten pancakes?

Best answer: What the hell was you expecting 😂. Makes me laugh that vegans won’t eat meat but are happy to eat vegetables that represent meat. I just can’t get my head around it.

  • Vegans, does ethically sourced cruelty free products include humans as well?

Vegans only buy products that do not harm animals. But do they also buy products that do not harm humans? Child labour, sweat shops, and so forth. Or do they only care about animals?

  • Do vegans think that indigenous poeple who live up in the arctic can survive without hunting for meat?

Best answer: Eating animals for survival, when there is no other option, is very different from eating them out of greed and personal preference (which is the case for most people who eat meat). Do you understand the difference?
