Not sure what to do, I don't like coffee, I try to take sleeping pills to fall asleep earlier but when I wake up I feel tired during the day. How do I go to bed earlier and wake up earlier? How long does it take to get into the habit of something new? Lol

I went to the doctor's office some time ago and requested a sleep study for sleep apnea. She brought out a sheet of paper and asked me questions and afterwards then told me the sleep study wouldn't be necessary. My family has been after me to get one done because of my snoring. I have had to tell them that it was pointless to request one from my doctor. The most stupid part about that appointment was she expected me to know what to say in response to the questions. I live by myself so how am I to know what I'm doing or not doing in my sleep? Years ago I know that I sleepwalked on occasion because 1 time I woke up at the front door, a second time I woke up sitting on the toilet, and a third time I woke up in the hallway. Thankfully that stopped a long time ago. I wouldn't of known if I hadn't woken up when I did. If I am really tired I have a hard time falling asleep because sometimes I feel like I am not inhaling. I do get tired in the day and take 1 to 2 hour naps. I do on occasion wake up periodically in the middle of the night. Thankfully there is a new doctor who would be happy to get me scheduled for the sleep study. He won't be like my old doctor who refuses to order a much needed test. And hopefully I can get better sleep so I won't need naps.

I have a bad taste in my mouth when waking up. It's not a taste, like with food, but a bad taste of the air.

He got a phone call 2 days after saying he needed to go back & get them redone so he did! Today he got a phone call saying he needs to go back in 4-6 weeks to get them taken again. Does anyone know why they need to do this many blood tests & leaving a 4 week gap? In the last few days he has drastically improved but still isn’t 100 percent, his first results showed up inflammation, protein in the blood & also something to do with his liver. The doctors haven’t explained anything so we don’t really know what’s going on! Any help appreciated.

Over the past few months I've had trouble going to sleep. But it's not like trouble falling asleep, it's just that I can't get myself to actually get in bed and try to sleep. It's like I lack motivation to go through my night routine and go to bed and I'll do anything else instead. I eat or watch videos or listen to music or even just sit on the floor of my bathroom staring at the wall instead. It's resulted in me going to bed around 3 or 4am every day, which has been affecting my mind and my mood during the day negatively and I just want it to stop. I want to sleep but I just can't get myself to. How can I fix it and start going to bed earlier??

Getting some exercise can also help. Not using things like video games or your phone before you go to bed can also help.
If you need to take some thing like melatonin about an hour before you have to go to bed. This can regulate your sleeping patterns.
Make sure your room is dark and comfortably cold. You can also try taking warm baths with epsom salts or lavender scented soap to help you sleep. If you still can't sleep then see your doctor, they can give you some thing that's not habit forming to help you sleep.
I'm usually not an early morning person, but my body adjusted to waking up earlier when I got a full time job.

  • Why is my vision blurry and why do i bad balance when standing up?

Best answer: Well, it could be a matter of low blood pressure or of a type of positional vertigo. I used to experience dizziness and things going dark before my eyes when I stood up. This is not uncommon.

Discuss it with your doctor, but it's unlikely to represent anything serious.

If you have not had a blood test, you can leave a sample of blood with the clinic professionals that will be sent to a hospital for measuring components in blood. Cost is about $75. These mini-clinics do not have a physician to pay and accept medical insurance.

Best answer: You are much increasing the chance that you die and leave her motherless at an earlier age. You are increasing the chance that you develop the type of ongoing serious health problems that will force her into the position of your carer. She is herself subject to increased health risks from passive smoking. She is more likely to become a smoker herself because of the example that you set her. She is seven times more likely to die in a house fire. You are likely to have reduced aerobic function which will have an impact on your ability to actively play with her.

Really, she's got a right to be upset. You're her mother and you're supposed to put her best interests first.
