I can literally have sat on the ground in pe for 2 minutes and when I stand up I have to hold onto one of my friends to support me and keep me upright. It doesn’t happen every time I stand, I can go days without it happening and then some days it’s really bad. I know I’m no dehydrated because I drink several bottles of water a day. I googled the symptoms and it came up with Orthostatic hypotension. I should probably tell my mum but whenever I go to tell her something I get really scared and go a bit “shy” Any doctors want to give me there opinion on what’s wrong with me. Please

Basically I quit because I thought it was dumb and I didn't get anything out of it. I also had like long breaks in between times when I would smoke at all in my later years. The only time I would consider myself a smoker was just a couple of years out of it and again I never got to a pack a day. I think because I didn't do it that much they can potentially become good as new. Another thing to note is that I didn't really inhale very deeply on the cigarettes either.

  • Why are nurses allowed to take care of patients when they can't take care of themselves?

The majority of the nurses I encountered are fat/obese .If they can't take care of their body and health, what makes them think they can take care of patients? Being fat is NOT healthy, and non-healthy people shouldn't be taking care of sick people.

She also found it concerning that I won't believe the doctors when they told me that I don't have HIV. She then spoke to the other doctors and they forced me to go to the ER for a mental health evaluation because they considered my behavior very abnormal. I honestly don't think I'm abnormal, I'm just extremely nervous because I had unprotected sex a few months ago which was a huge mistake.

A family member of mine was just dismissed from their nursing program that they were doing amazing in academically and in the clinical setting. They were in clinical and realized they didn’t have their badge on them, asked permission to go to their car and find it. Another student loaned their badge so they could go look. My family member was unable to find their badge, so when asked by the instructor if they had it, they nervously said yes, while still wearing the other person’s badge. The instructor realized this and said it went against policy and can be considered an attempted fraud situation and the program could have to pay major fines if it was noticed by other’s. She was asked to return to campus and speak to the dean. The dean said this would possibly lead to dismissal. They have officially today dismissed my family member from the program! I’m truly just flabbergasted as I definitely don’t think it ever needed to go this far. There was never harm done to patients, medication errors or any other sort of jeopardy! I think the instructor should have just taken them to the side, corrected the situation, say never to do it again etc. It should have never gone this far. At the very most probation. I’ve been trying to look up cases and have yet to find anything like this! If anybody has any perspective or advice I’d appreciate as I’m at a complete loss. Thank you.

  • Should brain altering drugs such as Ritalin be mandatory for children who attend government schools??

Best answer: Do you mean if they are diagnosed ADHD?

No. Children should not be forced to take anything without parents written approval. This drug is very similar to stimulants like amphetamine. Which is "speed".

Best answer: In a normal person, blood begins to clot in a wound within about three minutes.

That is why you are supposed to keep pressure on the puncture point for a while, it limits the blood leakage in to other tissues until the blood vessel wall seals itself.

It's not "healed" at that point, just plugged - but your body's repair mechanism then fixes the injury and removes the clot at the same time, over a day or two.
