I don't want to sleep because it's a waste of time. Work or Play?

    Favorite Answer:

Sleep isn't waste of time it's as important as eating & drinking.

When a person don't get enough sleep they become aggressive and they show symptoms like not being able to trust anyone.  They could become anxious and it's proved that not getting sleep cause so many mental problems. I'm not gonna say my opinion but you better search find out how bad iz it to not sleep

How to stop biting the flesh of my fingers?

I am 20 years old and this is by far my worst habit. I have been biting both of my thumbs

since I was a teenager, at least 5 years or more, to the point where the skin where I bite is hardened and looks horrible. I cannot stop it. When I tried, I started biting my cheeks from the inside of my mouth. I don’t know why I do this, now that I write it, it sounds crazy! But I have to stop it, next step would be to also stop biting all my nails but let’s start with my thumbs. Does anyone have any advice? Maybe someone also did it? And do you think my thumbs will ever return to normal? Thank you for the help. (This is my left one but they both look like this)

would it be safe to visit a Chinese market / grocery story now? (if wear a face mask)?

    Favorite Answer:

--  Yes, my wife constantly visits Chinese markets and Chinese supermarkets here in Australia. As we live in Victoria, which is the worst hit state in Australia, it is compulsory for wearing face masks.

--  If you are in the US, visiting any place, with a mask or not, will be dangerous because many people are not wearing masks and the spread of the virus is more rampant.

    I can't wake up anymore?

There is a host of medical issues that can result in feeling tired all the time, even though you get plenty of sleep.

    Chronic fatigue syndrome

    Depression

    Anemia

    Sleep apnea

    Diabetes

    Liver disease

    Kidney disease

Any of these has the potential to be serious and negatively impact the quality of your life. It's time to see a doctor.

Did I have Sleep paralysis or out of body experience?

    Hi,

When I woke up this morning everything felt normal to me but it really wasn’t.

I was lying on my front and woke up and as I went to move my right arm it felt like it was moving but I could see that it was dead still.

I was super confused so I went to push it down and it felt as if it was going underneath my bed and I could reach to the bottom.

I then sat up and my arm flopped down and wouldn’t move but I felt as if I was moving it.

If i wanted to move it right it would feel like it, if I wanted to move it up it would feel like it and so on. Eventually as I tried my hardest to actually move my arm it flopped over but I still couldn’t move it.

I eventually lifted it up with my left arm and I got pins in needles and a feeling of control in my arm.

Does anybody know what happened as I felt as if I was moving my arm but it was not moving at all.

    Thank you

Is it bad that I drink 3 cans of Coca Cola a day?

    Favorite Answer:

Your body probably craves energy in the form of sugar, so coke fulfils that desire. Try to substitute fruit drinks or fruit instead of coke. If you had anorexia you also need protein, fat and vitamins and minerals. Keep working on getting healthy. It is worth it.

Seriously, what helps when you can't fall asleep?

    Favorite Answer:

I walk more during the day, so that usually puts me out. I do have a few nights a month where I just can't fall asleep. I toss, I turn, I can't get comfortable. What helps me is just letting my thoughts go wherever they want and I eventually drift off, but it's not a good sleep at all. I just deal with it, as again, I don't have as many sleepless nights as I used to, now that I started exercising more. I also don't really eat or drink anything after 7pm.

I don't watch TV before bed, I read. I would say anything on a religion network or a movie that you've seen a million times may help you. A show that you're not 100% invested in and don't care about may help, too.

Twitching in whole body is this ALS?

I’m a 22 year old male and 1 month ago I started noticing muscle twitching in my legs and cramps. I can’t seem to walk in a straight line sometimes because my legs feel weird and heavy. I also have stiffness and cramps in my neck that makes it hard to hold my head up sometimes and I’ll feel like somethings stuck in my throat. I also have these really bad tongue twitches and tremors in my mouth that makes it hard to close my mouth sometimes like I feel like I have to open my mouth and let it hang open. I’ll get an occasional twitch in my arms and feet and eyelid. Also I’ve been having twitching in my left hand. Last week between my forefinger and thumb was twitching whenever I stretched out my hand then my middle finger was twitching side to side and a few days ago my forefinger was also twitching side to side. I also get little twitches in my hand too but not very much it’s mostly in my legs and calves. Also I’ve noticed I’ll mispronounce words sometimes but I don’t know if I’ve always done that or not.

Can I request the IV be placed in my arm, rather my hand while giving birth?

I have a fear of getting an IV in my hand/wrist and I’m actually more scared of that than giving birth itself. I can feel anxiety in my hands and ankles and the thought of it. I’m due in November and worried about the IV, as I’ve never had one before, and know it’s going to just stress me out like crazy. So what do you think, could  I request to get the IV in my arm or will they disregard any request? Thanks.

    Taking laxatives?

Is it ok to take ExLax chocolate laxatives when im not constipated? I feel like im not emptying myself completely. I still feel like i have something release, but at the same time i cant, and i strain. I dont have the urge to use the toilet, but i do feel like i do have something to drop. And whenever i do, they come out in little pieces and sink to the bottom, and they sometimes mush together. Not sure if this is just a small change or if I M constipated

How do I get away with not wearing a facemask in shops UK ?

It's already been annoying having to do it on transport. Its been proven to lower oxygen levels wearing a mask over the mouth and nose. Basically making you dumb as **** because of the last of oxygen getting to the brain. When will this government mess just end!!!!!
